I have been quilting for 30 + years.  When I was trying to come up with a name for my business, I asked my father what my Great Grandmothers name was. He said Lettuce.  Being a why person, I asked him why someone would be named Lettuce.  His response was, ” I don’t know why, but they called her Lettie”. Hence, the name for my company. I am a member of International Machine Quilters Association.  I am also very active with Quilts of Valor.
